Authors Abstract
Raj Bhosale Accurate enrollment projections are vital for higher education institutions to strategically plan for resource allocation, academic offerings, faculty recruitment, and financial sustainability. This paper presents the development and implementation of the Enrollment Projections Application, a robust, web-based platform designed to support data-driven enrollment strategies. By integrating multiple technologies including PHP for the user interface, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Databases for data storage and retrieval, and SAS and Python for data processing and advanced analytics, this application allows institutional leaders to simulate enrollment prediction with precision. The system enables real-time access to historical trends and program-level insights, enhancing forecasting accuracy and decision-making. The paper details the technical architecture, data integration approach, and predictive modeling capabilities of the application. It also discusses use cases where this solution has empowered university leadership to proactively respond to shifting enrollment patterns, aligning institutional priorities with student demand and external policy changes.
