Today’s college students are typically resistant to read a textbook, take notes, or study provided course materials in a
world where artificial intelligence can do it for them. But let’s take it back to an “Ages 6 and Up” time. Using simple dollar
store puzzles, the concepts of data mining come alive. Topics such as variable type, error, descriptive and predictive
analytics become tangible aspects of learning. Partner this with the use of SAS Viya in the classroom, and you have a
collaboration that makes learning fun.
In this session, participants will see how to explore a variety of data mining
topics while using SAS Viya to analyze the data. This session will also include a demonstration of how the puzzle
becomes an opportunity for data collection, visualization, and analysis. |
